Celebrating 125 Years of Food & Agriculture in the City of Vancouver

With many thanks to the City of Vancouver for their 125th Anniversary Grant and with the additional support of Avalon Dairy and the Overwaitea Food Group, FarmFolk CityFolk is proud to present “Celebrating 125 Years of Food & Agriculture in the City of Vancouver.” This art exhibit chronicles Vancouver’s food history with stories and images that are nostalgic, educational, and inspirational.

Originally installed at the Roundhouse Community Arts & Recreation Centre as part of the 2011 Sustenance: Feasting on Art & Culture festival (October 8 – 19), this 30-panel exhibit will be permanently installed at New City Market (upon completion.) In the meantime, it is available for showing.
